Product idea
A controlled decision layerbeside existing systems.
Varde Ark is not intended to replace reporting, BI or operational systems. It works on the next step: a shorter decision brief that is easier to understand, verify and follow up.
Develops concise, traceable decision briefs for operational leaders.
As reporting and analysis become more extensive, the path to a decision needs to become simpler.

Varde Ark works on the layer after reporting: a shorter, clearly bounded and verifiable decision brief focused on what actually needs attention.
The goal is not more analysis. The goal is less distance between a sound basis and a human decision.
More information is useful. More decision noise is not.
Continue when you're readyCurrent research focus
Varde Ark is currently exploring Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and electrical compliance in the United Kingdom as an active application area. The work remains in research and development and must first establish whether the same decision friction actually exists there.

The shift around us
Modern tools can give leaders ever more reporting, analysis and explanation. That does not automatically answer what actually deserves attention now. Varde Ark explores the final link in the chain.
Principle
Traceability, clear boundaries and visible uncertainty matter more than appearing certain. When the underlying basis is not good enough, that should be visible — not papered over with more text.
The product's value should lie in the decision brief, not in more navigation.
Control must not rely on hidden guesswork or autonomous decision-making.
The system should reduce decision noise without taking over responsibility for the decision.
Technology behind Varde Ark
Jakjo takes information from existing professional reports, applies predefined rules and preserves the link back to the original source.
Jakjo is not intended to replace the professional report or alter the professional judgement behind it. It works on the layer after the report: what is documented, what remains unresolved and what requires organisational follow-up.
Status
Varde Ark is under controlled development. The product boundary is defined, with traceability, restraint and human responsibility for decisions as guiding principles.
Developed in Norway, with an emphasis on control, traceability and clear responsibility.
Status is updated when the documented basis supports it.
